One of my favorite iPhone features, even after the release of iOS 15, is the option to add widgets to the home screen. So, if you haven’t already done so, prepare your iPhone by downloading iOS 15. After that, have some fun designing your home screen by using the new App Library pseudo-app drawer and experimenting with widgets everywhere on your home screen. Smart Stack is Apple’s distinctive widget, and it combines many app widgets that you may scroll through manually or allow your iPhone to choose which app to show you and when based on how you use your phone.
If you check the weather and then your calendar first thing in the morning, the Smart Stack will most likely contain both of those apps and show you the forecast first, followed by your plan the first time you unlock your iPhone. The stack will then display you the Activity widget around that time of day if you regularly check your Activity metrics after dinner.
You must open the app after it has been updated for the widget to appear as an option. There’s no need to go above and beyond. Allow it to load fully, and the device should appear as an option. To design your stack, you don’t need to master any new processes or techniques; if you’ve ever removed an app or rearranged your home screen, you’re already a pro.
